DIY Head Board with French Cleat
Started with 16″ Board cut to 21″ lengths since a queen bed is 60″ it gives me a bit of overhang.1″ foam was the padding.
I covered them in Black Leather and grey velvet material.
Pulled Taught and stapled
Easy checkerboard pattern. I built a frame around the back which i didnt take pictures of and screwed the panels to the frame.
I ripped a 1×4 in half at a 45% angle to use as a cleat and put its other half attached the headboard.
Finished up.
